| I've recently installed a new car stereo in my Octavia mark II. The problem is that with my mobile phone in its holder it is quite close to the head unit. Whenever the phone hands over to a new cell or communicates with the network (voice call or SMS etc.) it inteferes with the audio and that familiar 'vtttv vda vtttv vdaa vtttv' sound comes through the speakers. With the original Stream head unit I didn't get this so I wonder if it has anything to do with my wiring or whether I need to screen some of the cables better. What would you suggest? |

| The problem is down to the poor screening on the circuits inside the stereo, as the stream and audience are designed to interface with mobile phones they have very good screening. The same thing happens with cheapo PC speaker systems.
