| Octy II Stram MP3 Right o lads. I've got an Oct II ambiente on hire as my octy I is in for repair. I must say that I'm VERY VERY impressed ith the stereo, ( the rest goes as given). Do the new octy's come with a standard sub to increase the bass output? I think that this is probably the best OEM radio I've ever heard in a car that costs less than £20K. Discuss.

| Re: Octy II Stram MP3 To be honest the Stream & Stream MP3 are thought by owners not to be that good. The speakers are good though. No sub fitted.

| Re: Octy II Stram MP3 I find mine crap TBH Radio Reception is terrible, and the Auto Freq. function is crap too, tends to change to a worse signal than a better one. Always picks up interference along the same stretches of road, where i've taken 5 or 5 different cars through in the past without issues. Sounds good otherwise, can't fault that.

| Re: Octy II Stram MP3 Well I like it, it sounds 100 times better than the Mk1 standard. Even sounds better than my Kenwood.

| Re: Octy II Stram MP3 Yes, I think the stream is better than the mk1 oem. I think this is partly down to the speakers. My Audience sounds better than the stream with the normal 8 speaker setup.

| Re: Octy II Stram MP3 Its strange that some people have issues with radio reception on all the skoda oem headunits. My audience seems fine, indeed I can listen to Radio 2 whilst driving around Calais in France with few dropouts.

| Re: Octy II Stram MP3 So how do people find the MP3/CD playback? I find it brilliant, depending on what you are playing, obviously, but the speakers sound so much better than with my Stream.....
