| Off-the-road insurance cover Anyone any experience with insuring a car sorned and laid up? The two insurance companies I use are useless. Surely there must be insurance companies who will cover your vehicle whilst it is housed by an car storage company in an alarmed secure building. I'm looking for theft, fire and accidental damage only. If you can get insurance for just about anything from covering a £10 mobile phone through to house contents, why do Direct Line and LV seem incapable of assisting ![]() I'm tempted not to bother with any and suffer the consequences should anything untowards happen...

| Briskodian | Re: Off-the-road insurance cover LV can't help? Have you phoned them up and asked them to check it out with the underwriters. I'm sure they do this.
