Question Parrot CK3100 in Fabia Mk2

Some time ago, I installed a Parrot CK3100 in my Fabia Mk1. I put the control box in the centre console although most people seem to have used a space behind the glovebox. Has anyone fitted one of these to a Fabia Mk2? Any tips or suggestions?

Has the MK II Fabia got ISO or CAN bus as per the Octy II.

I've fitted a 3200 to an Octy II

I don't know, but I think plugs and adapters are easily sorted. My concern is where I can physically put the control box.

Well if it is CAN I was going to say hide it by the fuse box with the facia running under the wheel and up by the radio.

Then use 2 wires into the green connector block to get you phone in and 1 wire to get you the mute.

Run 3 wired (live/switched/earth) to the fuse box direct to the parrot.

Don't forget to do the wire to a light switch connection so that you get it going on/off for day/night as I forgot this and have to get around to doing it.

All seems to work much better than the ISO piggy back or ISO -> CAN mess

I have a 3200ls in my Roomy.

There is even room for a mute box behind the dance although I did get it fitted instead of sweating it out myself. AFAIK it's not standard ISO but it takes about 5 mins to remove it and have a look

I had my Nokia control box wrapped in bubble wrap and poked behind the passenger kick panel on my Roomy (same as Fab2) There is also plenty of room behind the glovebox .

This sounds similar to my Mk1 installation. I also have the head unit to the right of the stereo, but the control box would not fit behind the kick panel in the Mk1. That's why I slotted it next to the gear lever. Putting it behind the kick panel requires less dismantling.

How about tools for removing the head unit for the CD player? I fashioned some out of hacksaw blades for my Mk1.
