| I'm kinda hoping someones done something similiar or at least now how to do it. I have a Sony HU but was thinking how to hook up my mp3 player, a Creative Zen V+. Now it seem relatively simple to hook it into the AUX port with a 2 x phono to 3.5mm headphone plug but was thinking if it would be possible to have it powered via its USB plug? Surely not everyone as an ipod! Do HU have power take-offs? A ciggy-socket USB adapter would be useful...

| A ciggy-socket USB adapter would be useful Readily available as they are used for all sorts of things like PDA's, even ipods etc. Read on the web and you will see how to make your own. In terms of power, easiest thing will be to take a feed off the stereo feed, Some where on here will be the wiring diagram for the fabia sterio. |
