| sounds perfectly crisp just like CD.... helps having the Skoda DX as HU rather than standard stock HU improves sound no end even with normal speakers.

| wow that looks pukker! although one thing I probably wouldn't have mounted it there, as it will A) get very cold with air con on and B) very warm in with the heating on... I think I would have mounted it towards the blanking plate (where the cup holder would go) on the passenger side... Does the ipod get all its power from the headunit or do u need a seperate 12v supply? |

All power from HU, it litterally replaces the CD Changer (unless ur clever with some wire and solder and wire up both thats what ive done!)

| Looks good! I have the ICE>Link too and will be trasferring it (and my HU) to my new Octy when that arrives...one day. I use a Brodit ProClip to hold my iPod, and my idea was also to fit it up by the central air vents. I use the iPod GUI, rather than the HU, to control the iPod, and having it up there makes it a lot easier to see and navigate. One question for you: where did you pass the ICE>Link cable to get it to the back of the HU? I can see it sort of tucked up behind the cradle, but where does it go from there?

Cable i've squeezed in-between the blanking switches and the dash it then runs down the glovebox loose then in the top right corner of the passenger footwell (close to bottom of glovebox) is a gap (nr footwell vent - stick fan on helps you find it) the just feed the cable through and you should see it pop up behind your HU. I only done this so i could feed it in with sat-cables...... if your running normal HU and you still have a lot of blanking switches by rear window heater... just stick it through there and leave the chip on the little dash behind them.
