Default Swapping radio for part ex-ing

Hiya just wondering,
The car is going in tomorrow to get part ex`ed for a fabia am i ok to remove my radio and replace it with some £5 crap i bought from a car boot sale earlier (which I will just put in the hole and not connect) it smells of burnt pcb

Yes, the chances are they wont notice what type of stereo is fitted. They will however notice a hole in the dash if you leave nothing in there at all.

I'd also whip the tax disc out and get any refund from the post office. They gave you a value for the car, the road fund licence is a tax. If you dont take the tax disc and cash it in, you can be sure that they will. Think about it, have you ever bought a car from a dealer and not had to pay for 6 or 12 months???

Theres only a couple of months tax left on the car and they are putting 6 months onto the fabia for me so its not worth the hastle

Just slotted the crappy one in and painted the cage as the surround is missing

Sorted ..Hmm to remove the speakers ..naah ill not push my luck already took the cup holders out and replaced them with blanking plates

Lol Managed to get away with it they never even had a good look at the car ..Dawm I should of took those speakers too!
