Re-map with mods

Hi there,

I am planning to get a re-map with IP next spring (depending on insurance) but also considering a few mods (CAI, TIP, DV and relocation kit) so would it be better to do those first before the re-map so they can be taken into account for the re-map or does it not really matter?

It's not going to make much difference

Fitting a CIA will give you more induction noise.

Fitting a TIP & DV kit is going to make no difference and you would be better off putting the money towards a good exhaust to go with the remap

Re: Re-map with mods

Get a 2.5"/3" downpipe and sports cat fitted along with a 2.5" cat back system, this is about the only thing that will make any proper difference when mapping. (Blueflame or Milltek)

As for CAI's I gather a K&N or Green panal filter is about the best thing to fit!...£35-£40

T.I.P's hardly make any difference to performance....save your wonga!

FMIC might be worth while for the occasional hot day we get here???
