| Briskodian | Hello all, have lurked here since the summer after deciding to replace our tired little 1.6 Cordoba Coupe and shortlisting an Octavia as replacement. Test drove a VRS and Diesel 130 (to humour the Mrs ) and to my amazement found the Diesel better to drive for what we want. Love the torque and playful way the turbo kicks in without having to really wind it up to silly speeds/revs.However since taking delivery in August of our SE Ambiente hatchback we have clocked up over 6000 miles and there's a niggle or two I'd like to sort out. Namely handling, less body roll and even more grunt! Want to keep it looking understated and fully useable for everyday use and the long trips we make but first up I would like the thing to be less barge like and more akin to the Cordoba. Not particularly keen to get new wheels and tyres but wondered what's the best route, Springs? are uprated dampers necessary? front strut brace? thicker anti roll bars? and where would be a good place to get such equipment? VRS has firmer suspension, would springs from that be a good bet? As for power, it seems Jabbasports remap is the way to go but being in the Bristol area it's a bit of a trek. Anyone closer that could be recommended? Badger |

| With regards to remaps. Are AmD close? Also any REVO dealers? Do a search for audi S3 lower strut brace. Think its a straight forward fit and also cheap. Also think their was a recent group buy on thicker ARB's which you can get from Awesome GTI. Hope this helps.
