Greetings from Ireland

Hello everybody.

I have 3 Rapids, an 1987, 1989 136 and a 1990 136.

The 1987 has a 2 Litre Lancia Twin Cam fitted in it, the 1989 is for parts and the 1990 is a Sport with only 21000 miles Spax all round recaro front seats and a group A exhaust with 13" Minilites all round with 185/60-13.

The plan is to fit a 2 Litre Lancia Turbo into the rear of the 1990 using all the experience gained fitting the engine to the 1987 model, e.g. engine plate, engine mounts and clutch etc.

The 1987 body has been lightened to approx 700 kgs and develops 184 bhp per ton. The plan now is to achieve similar or better bhp per ton with the 1990 model without it looking like a track car.

I have a reasonably well equiped workshop with a hoist, compressor etc. I have acquired old new stock Skoda parts and all specialists tools and original workshop manuals from an retired Main Skoda dealer.

I am now looking for a 2 Litre Fiat/Lancia Turbo engine, complete car if possible and driving would be even better.

Been having fun with these cars the last 10 years
