Hello - Again

Hello everyone,

I was registered on the forum a long time ago, before my home PC broke (well, the machine gave up becuase it was a proverbial pensioner

), and my work does not allow posting on forums.

So hey, now I have a PC again I can join in with conversations again! Its been about 9 months since I was last able to post here.

My black Fabia vRS is now nearly a year old and is getting better by the day. Have to confess that its strong residual performance has led me to consider changing it on a couple of occasions (I have a particular attraction to a bright orange Renault Sport Megane 225!) but have somehow never managed to justify it. The car simply does everything I currently need it to, and with my wedding next year I have to firmly bow to SWMBO!!

My only regret with the car is not taking it to Le Mans last year! Only saw a cople of Octy's and not a single Furby, so despite being in a convoy of several M powered BMWs, 2 R32s, a Boxter and an Elise 111r, i would still have stood out!

Would have kept up with the 111r too!! Don't know about the others though - several gps reads of 155+

Anyway, its nice to be back (not that I ever really left - read the site most days).

are you heading down to Le Mans next year?i think a few people from here are talking about it.

I really want to, found it an absolutely awesome weekend, but I am having to reserve judgement because I will be on my honeymoon during the last half of May, and holiday days may be a bit sparse.

Added complication for me is that I would have to drive down from Scotland to get the ferry, which adds an extra day on either side. I also beleive that the drive to France is better on the Thursday - there were no cops and a choice of camping plots. Oh and we arrived in time for the night practice aswell!

So it is basically nearly a week off for me. Still, SWMBO is actually keen to come next year, so that may make it a bit easier!!
