Default Hello from the Midlands

Hello there..
I'm Daz. I work as a train driver in the east midlands (UK) and i own a Octavia VRS Diesel.. i have had it just over a year now and im really chuffed with it..it's the 2nd Skoda i have owned ( my last Skoda was a middle range Superb) i liked the look of the Octavia VRS but i couldnt really afford to run a petrol one.. I said to my local Skoda garage ''If you bring out a Diesel version of the VRS then i'll be more than happy to buy one''

I think somebody must have had a brainwave up at head office as a few months passed and i got told that they were bringing one out
it's great to drive and the handling is good on it too... even for a Diesel it's quite rapid but i also have that much required economy on long runs.. i can get just over 500 miles on one tank and have averaged 40-45 MPG..
I look forward to chatting with you all online and hopefully eventually putting faces to names on here at meets.
Cheers
Daz

Hiya Daz.

We don't seem to have any regular Midlands meets at the moment.

We'll have to see if we can get something organised now the weather is getting better

There's regular goings on up by Manchester. That might be the closest
