| Briskodian | Hey all..newbie buying tips? Heya all, I'm Paul.... Not that new to this forum as I signed up ages ago when I was thinking about buying an Octy VRS mk1....however I never bought one and didn't use the forum much. Now I'm looking at them again pretty seriously and thought I'd say Hi on here. Not sure if there is a buying guide for them anywhere but if there is a link to it would be most appreciated? Anything comon that goes wrong with them etc for me to look out for when looking one over? I'm looking at buying an older one sort 0f 01/02 plate with as low mileage as possible as my budget is about 4.5k tops....probably look at ones up to 5k with the hope of getting them for nearer 4K cash. Thanks for reading, Paul |

Yes I have had a look, however beings as a lot are enthusiasts or modified cars they are tending to be a tad higher priced than the ones local to me on Autotrader. If anyone has one with under 65k miles they want to let go for around the 4k-4.5k mark then please feel free to pm me. Paul | |
