| Hi all - Potential new Skoda owner Batter half's car to be replaced and I've taken a real shine to the Skoda range and have to say this site is really helpful/interesting. Since No 1 son wrote off his Pug 206 earlier this year with result that insurance for a Fabia VRS, which he fancied getting, would be horrific he had to forgo the pleasure of buying one then. Trouble is, I now fancy getting one for 'herself' (not for me to play with, you understand ) but son might be a bit miffed at his mum having such a nice little motor !! (Hah, tough **** - he should be more careful!!)However, since seeing the new Octy, my good lady thinks she might like it as it 'looks more like a car'. My oh my, decisions decisions, at my age I shouldn't be thinking about hot little cars - should I? (On the other hand, I do still like my other toy - the m/bike) So, this weekend, hopefully, my/her mind will be made up and one or other of the Skodas will on order. Fingers crossed. Thanks for all your contributions to the site - which have probably made it harder for me to decide (Should change my user name to ditherer..) |

| Thanks guys. WrightyRS - nah, user name just made on spur of moment. Being gainfully unemployed (well actually very early retired and a kept man) I'm always being asked to do stuff like " you're not doing anything, watch this/that/him/her) so that's what I've become - a watch-man! Nice 'other toys' btw. I've not managed many miles on mine this year unfortunately. (Fazer thou') |
