Hi all, good to see ther is such a big forum for the Skoda

I bought a Skoda Octavia VRS 2002 around 2 months ago and am really pleased with the car. I think the next stage for me is to get it chipped(without the missus finding out).

Hi and welcome.
Sure the mrs would find out with the huge silly grin that you would walk around with.
The Remap is the way to go on the Octavia.
This would take you from 180bhp to 210bhp and the torque you would gain would make a large difference.
We can supply Custom-Code.
If you check out the web site you will see that there is a rolling road printout on there.
Our remap is priced at £450.00 + VAT.
This can be done quite quickly.
The thing we could not help you with is explaining to the mrs why your smiiling loads and why you always want to be off driving your car.

. With only 2 posts, the man is a Briskoda virgin, and here you are openly trying to destroy his innocence by coaxing him into following you down dirty remap road.

OMG I feel violated

ROTF Sarah I am thinking of getting this done, I have heard that there is some kind of device that would allow me to turn it on and off if needed is this correct?

BTW the missus would notice the gap in my bank account I would image

I'm still trying to sort that minor detail

Never had any luck with virgins (the remap ones)

Bank accout.. you could always apply for a new Credit Card?

But there is no expensive box with this remap.
Just a lap top and a vag com cable.

Was that gentle enough?
Thats it I am going to have to slow down aint I?
