| Could this be the first 50k miles in a year Fabia? Are you enjoying it? Planning to modify it at all? Welcome to Briskoda ![]()

| Briskodian | Thanks for the welcome all. I really rate this car. It is the first performance car I have owned and it was the last things I expected my wife to go for. Before 90BHP Passatt Estate, BMW 318i estate (by no means performance), Peugeot 405 1.9Tdi, Sierra 1.6L, Rover 827i (pretty quick but a Rover), Honda Acty van (850cc) lol My wife wanted something economical (great but you have to drive pretty conservatively to hit 50mpg) I wanted a Civic Type R so this ws the compromise (glad I did not waste my extra £5000) I have not got any extras so far but would not rule out modification. Not sure if this effects the warranty and could I get it done without the wife knowing? Remap or induction kit possibly. Any thoughts? I am a school teacher so will not be making it look too much different from the original. Do you know if I can fit a sony multichanger box to the stereo that comes with the car anyone? And y the way it is in the garage as some idiot knocked into me in the car park at Moliet South France (hence the 4000 miles in one month) 39mpg for the trip 3 people 3 surfboards and full camping gear driving at 150 KPH on the motorway. The bar stewards have given me a Renault Clio 1.2. while my 'Furby?' gets fixed. Never buy this car anyone. Anyway best go and get on with some lesson plans, kids get back tomorrow and I have spent the summer surfing in France rather than preparing lessons, lol!!! |
