| Have just picked up today my Fabia Vrs i managed by luck to find a ex demo yellow one which is 6 weeks old and has 2500 miles on clock also has the 6 disk auto changer fitted, I ended up paying £10,900 with full warrenty and AA 3 year cover. Now i work at southampton docks loading unloading cars from the ships and had my heart set on buying a renault clio 182 as i had inherited some money. This was untill last wednesday night when i was working in main car compound booking in cars that had been brought in to be exported when we spotted a nissan skyline GT-R, right one of the lads said lets have a go so the 3 of us that were working took it for a nice little drive round the compound and were pretty impressed, as we went to put it back i noticed about 40 odd Skodas which i had never seen in compound before but had heard good things about (On cliosport forum) so i thought i would have a close look. The first one in line was a Fabia Vrs and i liked the look inside and out so i decided to take it for a spin and i can truely say i was just as much impressed with it as i was with the skyline as i knew they were around 12K to buy and when i got home and looked on net and found out how low they are to insure and what mpg is i was even more impressed. That was last wednesday night by friday i had put deposit down and i picked it up today so 6 days from first seeing one up close to owning one. I dont think i will regret getting it over the clio as cheaper in fuel cheaper in insurance by miles most likely more reliable as have heard horrer stories from clio owners and just as much fun to drive as i drive the clios alot at work. I drive lots of different cars at work including jags, hondas (including type-r), all the mini range, all focus range, Pugs, Astras, BMWs and lots of different jap imports and can honestly say none have made such a huge impression on me as the fabia i just cant get over how good it is for money.
