| Briskodian | Hello everyone! ![]() Placed a deposit at the weekend on a used vRS, 2004 with 11k miles from a dealer! The car is ready for me to pickup but im having to wait until my loan comes through which is a pain in the rear i can't wait any longer!Loved the car on the test drive, it's quite odd having torque again after coming from a 106 Rallye that produces max power at 7200rpm! Previous to that i owned a Lupo GTI which i sorely miss, a great car but hopefully the vRS can make it for it!Hopefully should be picking it up sometime next week, ill report back once ive got her! |

| Ohhh I had a 106 Rallye, miss that car sooo much, but it was a little tired by the time I'd finished with it. I grew up part ex'd it for a brand new Punto HGT which felt so much bigger than the 106, now I have a Vrs which is a million miles away from the Rallye and the HGT!

| Well, and official "Welcome to Briskoda " from me then... You will love the car - it should be nicely run in too. A couple of "personal" questions though
I wanted a Lupo GTI since before I passed my test, but the price and size made me get a vRS instead. Oh, and the insurance and economy! ![]()

I don't expect it to handle like the Rallye or GTI, but thats not the reason i bought it really. The Rallye was a struggle to commute in everyday, talk about hard work! The vRS won me over with its mpg, low insurance, comfort and mid-range hoof ![]() It silver but has no factory options, i paid £10k on the nose which i thought while not outstanding was ok! I also got them to put brand new rubber on the front as it was only a couple of mm off the markets, it also helped as the car was very local to me too. Improvements? Well possibly the 160 pipe/green filter, and who knows, maybe a Revo/Jabba/whatever's-best next year sometime! | |
