| Thought i'd better say hello. Been visiting the site for a month or so now. I became the proud owner of an Octavia vRS hatch in black. Bought it brand new from Barkers of Grimsby. Got a really good deal. I was looking for a 2nd hand car but ended up buying a new one. I have owned a number of Vauxhallsfor the last 12 years or so, but the company have messed me about once to many times. A friend had an Octavia vRS & have fancied owning one for a while. I started up a car club 10 years ago for Cavalier Calibres, called the Calibre Register. I don't know if any one remembers these. They were all red with a very square Irmscher body kit. So i've been around the show scene for quite a while, and I am looking forward to meeting some of you over the next few years. |

![]() Remember them well as I remember going with my Dad to look at a new one when he was hunting company cars some years ago (1988?). Think he opted for the SRi 130 though as his budget didn't quite run to it ![]() Chris

| I chopped my Astra in for an Octavia 9 months ago after Vauxhall dealers failed to impress on numerous occasions. Never looked back ![]() |
