On the verge of ordering a Fabia vRS, just negotiating the final discount with the dealer.

Still need to decide on colour, I've got it down to Red, Black and Silver , and whether ESP is worth £400 as an option. Does anybody have an opinion?

Well, I went for black, cos I like my cars to be stealthy!

ESP is supposed to be very good, but I've never driven a car with it fitted.

It's ordered. I went for Black Magic, Xenons, Cruise and Heated Seats for £12350, which I don't think's is too bad as I've got the piece of mind of getting it from a local dealer.

Just got to wait until March now, with the Christmas holidays I was looking at a Jan build with delivery in Feb so I decided to wait for the new registration number.

Is that Gizmo who owns a blue car and lives round Bristol area? If so, you'll know that these diesels can be made fairly brisk.

If not, well, welcome anyway

Good choice of colour & options. Got a good deal there.

Not me, I'm up Reading way and currently driving around in a 10 year old Cavalier 1.7TD whilst I'm between cars. Previously I had an A3 2.0TDI Sport as a company car, a superb car but when you can get 90% of everything it has going for it for 60% of the price there's no competition .

I have ESP on the Fabia vRS, it is great and does stop the back from stepping out but for real fun it gets switched off

Welcome to Briskoda.

I don't have ESP and never even considered it. I don't like too many electro wotsits to spoil the driving pleasure.

I'd go for the silver or red if you don't want yellow. Too many black ones on here already.
