| Following on from this thread, http://www.briskoda.net/forums/irish...-meet/74114/3/ Sunday 15th April - Meet & Spin down about Wicklow/Glendaloch, followed by lunch somewhere along the way. Probably meet up about 12 or 1pm (subject to change so keep an eye on here for updates). Is there anyone familiar with the area so we can decide a route etc ??????

| I have a feeling I have driven along some of those roads. As long as you avoid the R759, all should be well. The R759 is not for the faint hearted. Shame I cant make the trip, would have been good to have popped over and met some of you again.

| Sounds like fun. I've done this once before but the other direction, it was when I first moved over, went to Sally's Gap then Glendalough. Remember one road where there is a small bridge on a chicane. However, if you were going at speed it looks like the road just goes straight and is mega dangerous! | Sorry lads I'm not gonna make it to this one, I'll be racing MX in cork that weekend plus my car is way to near to the ground! I used to head up there a fair bit on my road bikes there’s a grand little place to get food in Lara. If the weathers good watch out you'll meet some total nutters up there on bikes!

)![]() What do people reckon to taking in a bit of mountain driving? Before Roundwood, we could hang a right onto the R759, then hang a left on to the R115 and on into Laragh? I took the R759 from Kilbride to Laragh (i.e. Sally's Gap) a few weeks ago and it's not too bad. ![]()

| Fletch, Thats roughly the idea alright, Taking in Blessington, Laragh (theres a big hotel there does carvery grub), Then onto Glendalough. One of the other lads said start in Blesstington, go to Laragh (stopping for pics on the way). Have grub in Laragh, then onto Glendalough and across the mountains then. A couple of places I see mentioned, were Powerscourt Waterfall (not sure if theres a €5 entry to the waterfall) Pollaphuca Reservoir just wondering is there much to see ? Btw @ Fletch were did you get the pics from ? @ Smithy what was the name of the place you had grub ?
