Karting (or whatever) up North

After a successful afternoon karting at Mondello last weekend, Octav.ed (aka Sidestep Eddie) has nominated yours truly to gauge interest in Karting up North some time in the new year.

Obviously we don't have to do Karting but it gets the thread started. All suggestions will be taken seriously (within reason) and i'll do all I can to investigate what is available up here.

In the mean time these are the suggested venues if we go for the Karting.

Heres another venue. I've been there and don't really rate it but have a look anyway.

speedway

The 2 level track at Ballymena is interesting and very fast but overtaking is impossible unless someone really screws up in front of you.

yea i was at speedway a couple of years ago good crack, long carpark [ pics ]. close 2 hilton hotel and other eateries that r cheaper. malonys on b/clare rd good grub.

GAFF the karts tend to faster if you look ahead of ya!!!!!

Only use that for emergencies like getting down the pub for last orders
