Re: jabba air filter

Any cotton filter has to be oiled, but what we do is to bake off the excess, so it leaves enought to catch the fine "dust" but not enough to cause problems with the MAF sensor.

Re: jabba air filter

No you can do that at home,
You just need to make sure you wash it out good, then leave it to fully dry, spray the filter oil evenly on the filter then we put them in the oven we have here for 20 mins on 110 degrees C.

Or of course you could send it back to us and we will get it done and send it out the same day we receved it.

Re: jabba air filter

This does beg the question of how often does this need to be done?

Re: jabba air filter

We would usually say to clean it out at the usual service intervals, but its up to you, if you drive in a dusty environment, say down farm tracks, obveously its going to need cleaning more often.....

And your best off giving us a ring on 01733 211779 and speaking to carole.
