Anyone changed an Octy Front ARB??

I have the Golf R32 23mm ARB sat here waiting to be fitted to complement the Neuspeed 28mm I recently bought in the GB, Has anyone fitted one, are there any pitfalls / tips to look out for. I spoke with Awesome the other day and it seems that you can get away with just releasind the rear of the subframe which means that the alignment is still ok ( will get it checked by awesome anyway)

Dave
PS the Golf 32mm is only Ł54 =Vat from the dealers as opposed to the Neuspeed at Ł145+vat.....the general consensus across the VAG forums seems to be that the 25mm neuspeed upsets the handling in the wet wheras the 23mm seems to be perfect......and at that price!!!

Yep, done it (or rather had it done). Takes about 2 hours, and yes you do need to drop the sub-frame. Sometimes you will also need to loosen the steering rack as well. Get new lock bolts for the sub-frame if you intend undoing the originals. Get the geometry checked afterwards. Not had any problems with a 25mm one on the front of mine, may be I just don't drive it hard enough to notice?

I fitted an R32 anti roll bar to the front if an Octavia whilst at AmD, iirc it was Stuart's tidy 4x4.

Easy enuff but as mentioned 4WA will need to be done.

Front Anti Roll Bar Mount

2 per car (each) PFF85-411-23 23mm Ł12.95

All bushes are part numbered and priced individually but need to be ordered in pairs
For example, Front outer track control arm bush = two per car
Prices shown exclude VAT
