Default Anyone used Chiptuners.co.uk?

I'm looking to get my Fabia VRs remapped soon, and found the chiptuners.co.uk website, and they seem to be offering a very good price.

But, has anyone here used them? I have searched, but cant seem to find any mentions of them.

They appear to have a map for pretty much everything on the market and some impressive quoted gains but I'd be a bit wary tbh.

My advice would be to search the Fabia forums and read owners experiences with various remap options and make a judgement based on this. You may end up paying a little more for the more established market players but utimately I think you'll end up with a better product imo.

I think I might just go for Angel Tuning instead, as they seem a bit more better known.

I used them for my first power upgrade on my fabia vrs, great job and cheap,i went back recently wanting more and to my dismay the very helpful lad simon who transformed my pride and joy had gone and the other lad who was mascurading to know his stuff was pretty useless to say the least. Andrew I believe his name was. Didn't really know what he was doing was my first impression which was confirmed when a crabby golf tdi owner turned up complaining of smoke and clutch slip after andrews meddling......
Fortunately a quick word with the v hunky alex at full on racing 2 units down from chiptuners and he revealed simon was actualy the one with knowledge and experience at car tuning and had left following a dissagreement with andrew, better still he supplied me with simons number and new company name £200 later ive got my latest power fix (185 bhp) but im already thinking of enlisting simons help for further mods i.e big intercooler thingie on front which i think look proper hardcore and simon assures me is not just for looks... : ) he pimped a bora tdi when tuning cars for oaktreegarage.co.uk and i loved the beastly looks of the intercooler, just what i envisaged for my pride and joy
will keep everyone updated x
