| hi, 1 week old and one of the 18" alloys on my dads new octavia vrs has already gained a chip! its about a cm long and right up at the lip of the tyre. how would one go about sorting this? many thanks! |

| I'm not sure how much it would be to get fixed as it varies. But have a look at some respectable companys in your area and get quotes. Other than that, if you can live with it, do so..... |

| You can get a paint called "5 wheel silver" in s can. I have used it on a few occasions to touch alloys up (spray a bit into the cap and apply using a small brush). It wont match perfectly but has looked fine when I have used it. Depends how bit it is and how fussy you are! |

| I went into halfords today and they do a few repair kits now. leather, alloy, paint and plastic interior/exterior repair kits. Not sure how good thay are though.
