Clonck from front

My Fabia has started making a clonck fron the front suspension when driving over speed-bumps, at low speed

... Changed ARB and droplinks in february. Sounds like its comming from springs/dampers...

could be gearbox mount if noise on the lefthand side only

yeah mine has just started doing that today. it sounds more like the damper to me, it's a good excuse to buy some high performance ones, well that's the story i'm telling swmbo anyway.

worn bushes on anti-roll bar ?

Mine had same symptom after 20k, replaced bushes and roll-bar under warranty, March this year. Clonking gone. £200 p & l +VAT if outside warranty.

I posted to the General Chat forum sometime in March, and someone replied with some very nice photos of the problem -can't remenber exactly when though.

Possible it's the suspension drop link,
Had the problem for a while,cured by getting some grease in to the rubber
bushes.
Do not have the clunking sound now,cheaper than replacing the links.

Drop links are the prime suspect if you can hear them at slow speed on bumpy roads
