| Good Service !! We are all given to mention things about our cars when they are bad including poor service and lack of help from dealers. However, having just picked up my baby :driving: from it's 1st service (18k - variable) I must put pen to paper (or rather fingers to keyboard) to praise the excellent service I got at Forward Motors in Luton. I was given a very clean Octy 1.9 diesel as a courtesy car for the day(made me appreciate just how excellent the RS is!!) and left the car with them. I mentioned a few minor things for them to look at whilst it was in. On returning, Graham the After Sales chap, who was both very courteous and helpful, sat me down and went through everything that had been done. Nothing was too much trouble and he explained all the things I had asked them to look at, pointing out the warranty work from the standard service work. Now I have owned a good few cars in my time and this is I am pleased to say, the first time I have felt I have ever got service, instead of feeling like a mild irritation :x , plus everything I asked to be looked at was and reported on. I feel it is right to criticise where needed but also to praise where praise is due. My thanks to the people at Forward Motors, you are a credit to the marque!! P.S. All this for just over £200.00 for a 20k service. That's the logic of driving a Skoda!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: ![]()

| TOTALLY AGREE , forward motors are a credit to the skoda name. I have been there only 6 times in the last year1st to pick car up (loads of dosh) 2nd to have the cruise i fitted switched on with there vag tool (FREE) 3rd to show Steve cc working as he wasnt convinced. 4th for it's first service @ 29,000 miles (£202) 5th for a new sun visor clip as i broke it whilst trying to "do a mod"(£2.10) 6th buy another sunvisor clip as lost original (£2.10) they have always been courteous and very helpfull. Graham is relatively new i think but you will find whoever you deal with there you will be treated with respect. I have been to a couple of other skoda garages to buy parts (for moding or that i broke while trying to do mod's) and although the service is good forward motors are by far the best so far. I hope you were aware of there loan car policy? if you want cover under there insurance you pay first £500 of any claim. if not covered under your own insurance policy. Oh and i live about a mile away from forward and when my car went in for service as i live so close they offered to collect and drop car back. First class sales, first class parts ordering, first class after sales one bad thing about them beware the tea machine its very dubious with tea.(must be made by ford) :bup: :driving: Dean |
