headlight deflectors

This is a discussion on headlight deflectors within the Maintenance & Performance forums, part of the General Motoring Discussions category; anyone know where to stick headlight deflectors on a octi vrs lenses? the lack of markings gives no clue....

headlight deflectors

anyone know where to stick headlight deflectors on a octi vrs lenses? the lack of markings gives no clue.

The instructions that come with the deflectors should give you a good clue as to where they go. Must admit I've never bothered so far, I tend to adjust the lights as low as they can go when I'm over on the continent... Not exactly legal, but I'm just lazy

Yep I do the same & never had a problem, even when we have done the Cannonball runs where the police tend to look for reasons to give you a ticket its never a problem.

If you are really worried get some black insulating tape & through trial & error (park car at night with lights on) you can sort it yourself, all you need to stop is the dipped beam from shining left which will be in the on coming drivers face on the continent

looks like the best option and apart from driving blind its excellent!!!!!
