| Hello everybody, I bought my Octavia Combi 1,9 TDi Elegance last September. It has now 2000 Kms and so far no problems. Regarding its halogen headlights, I must say those aren't good, both low and high beam. Does anybody knows if it's possible to fit Xenon lights as an aftermarket option? Will it be very expensive. Note: When I placed the order to my Octavia, I should have asked for Xenon lights. Regards, AQM |

| Re: Headlights You can, but I'd try uprated bulbs first. Phillips Rally bulbs are excellent, although not strictly speaking legal in Europe ![]() Also worth a try, but not as bright, are Osram Silver Star and Phillips Vision Plus. Order on-line at Power Bulbs - autobulbs, autolamps, xenon headlights, car bulbs, headlight bulbs, osram silverstar, silver star, philips vision plus, philips blue vision, bluevision

- install xenon kit (i mounted one of this, 6500ºK before and 4300ºK now, on my Octavia II) Trend. You can see how it fit in my VAGclub.com's profile. The cost was 160€ for 6500ºK and 140€ for 4300ºK - install oem xenon headlights. It seems ebay starts having some parts for Octavia II. I bought a set of OEM xenon headlights (only it, without D1S bulbs) on eBay Germany at 264€ (shipping included) two weeks ago, and 2 D1S bulbs also on eBay Germany at 88€ (shipping included) Some offers of OEM xenon headlights: - eBay Spain: eBay.co.uk: FAROS DE XENON SKODA OCTAVIA II, ORIGINALES Y NUEVOS (item 200045901656 end time 16-Nov-06 12:30:06 GMT) - eBay UK (only Right headlight): eBay.co.uk: Skoda Octavia II Xenon Headlight R/H (item 150041853687 end time 01-Dec-06 18:13:54 GMT) | |
