| Am I the only person who junked the centre rear headrest as soon as i took delivery ?? Anybody else who feels that three rests all in a row adds unecessarily to the clutter spoiling the rearward view may be interested to note that i have exchnged the remaining two rear rests for the ones from the front seats. The rear slightly tall and narrow rear ones i now have on the front seats and the front lower and wider ones now grace the rear. The result is better rear view and for the driver same comfort. I dont think the cars look has been compromised. |

| No, I went one better and junked all headrests in the rear. Serve no purpose for 99.999999999% of the time, and for the 0.00000001% I could actually need them I do without them ![]() |

| Keep mine in my "box of tricks" in the boot, though, because I'm sure it's a good idea to replace it when you do carry that fifth passenger. |

| I'd like to do the same, but occasionally (very occasionally, but once is enough) I do carry three passengers in the back. They shouldn't be considered as headrests - they are head restraints. Properly adjusted (important point) they are a safety feature. More importantly, they protect me (and my other car occupants) from somebody else's mistake - in a rear-end shunt, they will reduce the risk of whiplash injury. You pays yer money, and you takes yer choice....

| Mine are all present and correct, I guess I got used to them a long time ago. My previous 3 cars all had them in the back. Even the mondeo has them.

| The middle one in the Superb is fixed, so removing isnt even an option. However, I also subscribe to the head restraints theory, and having been heavily shunted from the rear ina previous car and suffering neck injury I wouldnt dream of chancing it for me, my kids and anyone else in the back of my car.

| I just angle the rear restaints forward when they're not in use. Keeps them out of view a little.
