| HELP! boot lid sensor Hi all, please can anyone give advice on this bastid boot lid sensor, when the boot is shut and for no reason the dash display shows the boot is open followed by the lovely beeping sound over and over,then nothing for days. Have tried disconnecting the sensor inside the boot lid which puts the light out but to no avail, im no sparky but this tells its the dislpay end,surely someone can shed some light, its driving me mad!!!!! please, pretty please Mark. |

| Re: HELP! boot lid sensor I think the lid open sensor is in the lock mechanism, not connected to the boot light switch. And the problem sounds like a broken wire or corroded contact. |
