| HELP !! Octavia VRS - Braking, ABS problems ??? Hi everyone, Hope someone can shed light on this !! I have a 2003 Octavia vRS, and I have recently encountered problems whilst under gentle braking, when pulling up etc. Firstly, the ABS and Traction Control warning lights come on randomly whilst just driving. Secondly, I could be braking gently as if pulling up at a junction or traffic lights, then under braking there is quite a violent thudding sensation accompanied by a loud clunking noise. (the thudding sensation seems very harsh for ABS!) This can be quite erratic, and can be fine for several days, then suddenly returns. I have had ABS sensors replaced and new grooved discs with green stuff pads fitted but I am still experiencing this problem. Any ideas ? Regards, team JUICE |
