It appears to be regularily updated .......I note with interest his comments on timing belts along with others from this site . http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar...KO&p_model=369 Perhaps 3 / 60,000 years/miles is a good time to sell an Octavia - ? timing belt + water pump ? £ 1000 exhaust ? £ 300 tyres again ? £ 400 battery ? £ 30 no warranty ......

| got the cam belt changed when i bought my car it was on 65000 miles at the time and they included it in with the sale |

| Timing belt and water pump are nearer £200 unless you leave it too late and the damn thing breaks on you. Think it's part of the 60k service anyway ! Tyres are pretty variable dependent on driving style, and I'd be happy enough putting a new exhaust on after 60k. Battery - it's only £30 !  Were these just one person's experiences ?
