How to change DV? Hi guys, Can anyone explain or find a guide for this? Is it simply taking the old one off and piping in the two pipes back on? Is it hard to do? I've got a surge on mine and was thinking I might swap it back to the original bosch DV to see if it's the stratmosphere DV doing it. If it's an easy job it's worth a try I'm guessing... before I start spending money on N75 etc... Thanks.

Re: How to change DV? Sorry, found a guide now! So there are two throw away clamps (the top and side pipe) and the bottom is a jubilee clip? Take the two throw away clips off, unscrew the bottom clip. Take out. Put boschs in, do the bottom clip up and get two new jubilee clips for the top and side pipe? 14mm and a 20-32mm clips apparently. Where can I get these from, halfords do em? ![]() Might be something I can do on my lunchtime tomorrow and then i'd have a 30 minute drive home to test!

Re: How to change DV? Ok, just had a quick look (im eager to sort the surging out). The bottom and side clips are jubilee, what size should I get for the top? Also would this cause a problem, it looks like it's got hot and melted on the engine cover ![]() http://www.aoyt95.dsl.pipex.com/dv.jpg

Must admit mates at APS - VW Audi vehicle servicing and performance tuning say the OE one is quicker reacting although prone to break it still works out cheaper to replace it several times![]() Phil
