| How Do I Give My Tdi A Bit More Power? There are 2 ways in the main to go about this. 1. Re-chip/remap as per petrol engines. Will increase boost levels and fuelling. Permanently in-situ, therefore stealthy mod...till driven! 2. Installation of a tuning box. Easy installation ( 5 mins ). Box intercepts ECU signals and modifies fuelling, generally not boost. Can be taken out very easily for servicing etc. but tends to produce slightly more black smoke. Both the above produce in the region of 20-25% increase in BHP and torque.
