On their own, probably not a lot. The main advantage is the extra you can get when getting the car tuned (I currently have both on my TDI and its no quicker, so I want to go back to Jabba a.s.a.p now. )

Standard probably nothing. But you may well experience it to pull a little harder lower down, or even higher up. I dont know many mixed reviews!

Got mine today from Seat, 30quid you cant go wrong

Nah I fitted it in my lunch break, also opened out the front section like Josh had done with a dremmel so its got the same sized opening all the way through.

Then as we were quiet booked a half day off

I had a bit of a thought the other day after hurtling through a ford - will the water flow into the inlet pipe.

That was when I noticed it needs dremmeling.

Incidentally what would happen if water had got in?

If you have a look at the front plastic section of the air pipe that stays with the car you can see its held on with two torx screws, undo this and then you can remove it, you will see the offending flap.

As for water if you look at where the pipe slots in there is a 1/2 inch gap that runs along the bottom, this is there so if the front does get balls deep in water the air pipe desnt have a vacuum to draw up the water as it will go through the open gap.

I noticed the hole when I lifted the bonnet later and was quite relieved.

The water was a bit on the deep side, my bow wave went right over a land rover.
