Exclamation How To Reset Your Service Light

Thanks to my mechanic yesterday, he showed me how to reset the service light if you are on FIXED interval servicing.

I was told, if you are on longlife service intervals, you still need to plug it up to VAGCOM.

This should help a few people out

On your dash by the speedo's there is 2 'reset' buttons, one by the revs and one by the speed.

1) Press and hold the button nearest the speedo dial (the right one)
2) Switch ignition ON
3) The word SERVICE will appear in the trip recorder display (where your mileage is)
4) Release the button on the right
5) Turn the left button (revs side) to the RIGHT to reset the display.
6) Switch ignition OFF.

Ta-dah!

Takes about 7 seconds..
