| Ride height - pieceof p*ss Front damping - piece of p*ss Rear damping - absolute b*tch (you need to remove undo the 2 bolts at the top of the strut, fully compress the piston, adjust, re-extend it and re bolt it) The Leda and Spax rears are dead easy, reach behind wheel, adjust the knob - sorted. Konis, H&R, KW, Bilstein are the former sort. |

| 1 c spanner (supplied with the kits) and if, like Des, you have small hands you can do it without removing the wheels. You'd normally have to take the wheel off to get to the adjuster, call it 25 minutes. Only normally change it if going on track so would do it when changing to slicks / track tyres anyway. |

| Do you have to remove the bolts on the KW3s to adjust the rears as well?

| Yup. I never adjusted mine. They came all set up from the factory. As they are custom made, you tell them what you want and they come pre-set ![]() |

| When I had the KWv2's I drove them as per factory for a while. Then using a guide Jon gave me ages ago (search they are here) I decided that I could leave the rear set and adjust the front to increase/decrease the understeer. Worked quite well IMHO, although all round on vehicle setup would be nicer. Thus IMHO adjusting the front easily was more important then as I was leaving the back fairly neutral. I believe Stuart (Stuart_J) has had some extra info from KW and powerhouse about setup and is now extremely happy...I think we need to extract this ![]()

| Colin, A lot happier but still to give it a real test, I need a Continental trip to give it a real thrashing. Im meant to be driving to Majorca in September so I need to get it well sorted by then. Rears are currently slightly harder than factory setting as per your recomendation when I first fitted them & the fronts are now 1/2 turn off the hardest setting as per KW's recomendation & I am yet to try the extra 1/4 turn they have also said I should try. Ride height is as close as I can guess RS height & Ive still grounded it a couple of times so see no point in going lower. They are certainly vastly better but I have still had the "bounce" a couple of times. I want to take the car to someone who is a suspension expert for an un biased opinion, anyone any suggestions. The V2's are vastly better than standard & I'm wondering if I am just asking for too much Were I buying again I would def go for V3 following Jons experiences For anyone buying KW I would recomend Motorsport International, Tel 08702 412382 & ask for Alan. I originally bought the suspension through Impresiv who are no more but Motorsport Int have been extreemly helpful in offering advice & liasing with KW on my behalf, Ok they are the Main Importer to the UK but their attitude & "helpfulness" has been more than I might have expected Stuart

| Sorry, didnt realise Eric did KW, def worth giving business to those who support Briskoda. Anyone know if he would be worth approaching for an opinion/advice on my car & where are they based. I really want someone who knows KW & Skodas to take it for a spin & get their feedback
