Default K04 onto Octy mk1 vRS

Contemplating this, my undrestanding is that as far as hardware is concerned you need S3/TT/LCR Manifold
K04 off either of these
TIP from either of the above
Downpipe and Cat from LCR ( as 2WD)
Oil line and water lines from the above
TT injectors
S3/TT Maf and Airbox
....REMAP
anything I have missed?
the Turbo and Mani being the expensive bits which I can source at a v good price, anyone done this yet who could offer advice.
I am not really after advice on alternatives i.e GTX eliminators etc at this point just relating to putting a K04 on, I know what it will go to etc

Don't forget the boost pipework which will have to be custom to connect up to your existing IC etc.. or if you want to use the standard setup from a K04 car then you will also need the intake manifold.

Eddy,

where does the k04 boost outlet exit, is it top or bottom?

Agreed, K04 turbo but uses all the mountings, pipe work etc of the K03. Turbo dynamics do a hybrid one thats opened out and flowed.

Turbo dyanamics one is £600 +vat and you have to send them your turbo to work on, AM04 is about £800 and the JBS04 is about a zillion £ inc fitting.....think that they have lost the plot a bit with that as it's only a K03/K04 Hybrid, 280-300bhp rated and they want about £2.5K +vat for the basic kit fitted and for the stage 3 kit about 5K +vat

forgot to say that £1900 was +injectors and doesn't inlude things like CAI, FMIC or downpipe.
