Main Beam!!!

Hello people, could anyone tell me if the xenon headlight adjustment alters the main beam too or is it just the headlights?
When i put mine on main beam the light seems far too high (almost into the tree's?) & am sure it's not supossed to be like that?
Once it's sorted i'd like to upgrade the main beam bulbs to some more powerful as too be honest, the xenons are so much better that at the moment i find myself not using main beam hardly at all?
I'd like a crisp blue-ish light, the more powerful the better but obviously not wanting to melt the plastic lenses?
What do you guys use or recommend?? Many thanks in anticipation for your responses!

Automatic leveling doesn't affect main beam only the dipped beam.

It seems that many of the Octy's are like that, main beam just lights up the treetops You can easily sort this out. There's a screw behind the headlamp unit which alters the up/down position of the main beam.
It's the only updwards facing screw attached to the headlight assembly.

Re: Main Beam!!!

Bear in mind it adjusts the entire main beam reflector and not just the bulb so watch for the reflector moving when adjusting. As for which way is which - give it a twiddle and all will be revealed as it takes quite a few turns to make any big adjustments.

I did mine a while back and it's a vast improvement as I had a gap between the xenon beam cut off and the main beam throw - most off-putting!
