| Hi all, I was wondering, i am wanting to uprate my engine, performance chip, re-mapping port and polish and so forth....As its only a 1.4 16v is it practical to fit an oil cooler, and if ifitted one without mods would it do any damage? Thanks andy, proud furby owner.

| If you want a faster 1.4, are you prepared to strip out lumps of the interior, cos the best and cheapest way of making them faster is to make them lighter. |

| lightening would be best as it really would cost a lot for negligible increases in performance from the engine. considered a 1.8t conversion if your attached to the car? otherwise no point in oil cooler but lightened flywheel decent plugs and leads, tank of redex and a good service will provide similar levels of increase.
