Hi all. What could cause the problem on 1.9 TDI that it lost all the power above 50-60mph? It feels like my engine lost 30-40 HP. Should I be looking for fault with turbo or is it something easier and not so pricy?

No difference. No SES light (check engine) no noises, no knocking or anything. All it is it feels like it has no turbo. You press on gas pedal and there is no reasction ... not even till 4500 rpm... WTF? Just of the record... if there would be some petrol in a tank filled by my wife... would it act like that?

Poss faulty Mass Airflow Meter or faulty EGR valve? With faulty EGR valve it feels like the turbo has been taken away from the engine and it drinks diesel too. The first one that went on my engine put the emissions light on the dash. The replacement that went faulty two months later did not.
