Hi All,

I said we're just keen!

Anyway Carole said that 8 us of have booked up now; Graham's just posted so who's keeping quiet?

Waiting on gunnie and steveredvrs to book.

Chris: she did mention that they we're going to call but like I said better you do the honours instead of waiting around and getting anxious.

Cheers.

Hmmm - I would think that it'll be a close run thing ... I don't mess with 330s but you will have more oomph than me

The last 330 that came up aggressively on the road behind me in the typical M.Keynes dual -> roundabout -> dual -> roundabout
scenario, could not keep up.

It was a 330d though (!), but they have barrel loads of torque which is very good for the low and mid-range. He didn't give up or get the message though, which was disappointing

New shape A4's seem to get equally confused

BMW 330 Ci Sport specs

Whilst supposedly doing some work yesterday, i checked out the specs on BMW's web site. They quote the most powerful 330, the Ci Sport as having 231 BHP and a 0-60 time of 6.5 secs. So if Jabba do what i'm expecting them to (232BHP +), then me 'n' the Nuttster will be more than ready for them as we will have the power and the advantage of the Beemer driver not expecting a SKODA to be up to it.

4th of July seems so looooooooooong away but i've booked into my relatives for the Friday night so anyone in the Peterborough area who fancies a meet 'n' greet to say hello is more than welcome.

Cheers, Mark

Panrix

I wouldn't be that concerned about the absolute bhp figure to be honest.
This can vary on the day due to the atmosherics/weather, fuel used etc, and is also why Jabba quote
a likely 'range' of increase rather than a huge figure. (218 is about the 'worst'! to expect)

And Yes, you can expect a close run with BMWs soon. The shock factor does count on the road !

I like playing with them as well. Most seem really bemused by this black 1.4 16v with a bodykit that they can't keep up with

They know your name though.

I assume then that Elton called and you've sorted it out?

No, that was what I was calling him about and if it all sounds positive to make that booking. I will have to try them again Monday.
