| Having had my vRS serviced recently the local dealer forgot to reset the service indicator. Although I reminded them today when they fitted a new Clutch Cylinder under warranty (due to the pedal return in cold weather issue) note Monkey Hanger, but they still didn't reset it. Can someone PM me the secret method as apparently its only known to Skoda technicians and does not require VAG Com connection. Chris |

| The procedure is on page 64 of the Owner's Manual. If you use it, the car reverts to a fixed service interval. Ideally it should be reset by the dealer using a diagnostic tester so that the readout is correct.

| Once again Denis you are a mine of information. Well the handbook is but what's the point in us all reading it when you know it page by page? Cheers for that. :thumb:

I note the contents of Page 64 and since I use a fixed 10k interval don't see why I can't reset it myself. Assume it will reset the counter to 10k miles from when the reset is made so will now be late. Thanks for again referring me to the handbook that I otherwise never read. Chris | |
