Talking Sailed Through!!!

MOT'd car in advance this afternoon and it absolutely flied through its MOT, only failing the headlight angle test because I'd left the adjuster on "3" and a swift flick up to "0" got it right.

Now basking in my MOT'd Fabia.

(the Polo I had before my first Fabia failed every year that I had it so a new car is a relief)

Never had to have an MOT on a car yet!

1st car - Pug 106 with free insurance, had for 3 years, went back the day before the MOT was due.
2nd car - Fabia 1.4 16v, had for 2.5 years, so didn't need an MOT.
Now on the Fabia vRS. Will we be keeping this one long enough? That is the question!

My Octy RS goes in for it's first MoT on tuesday.
Finger's crossed.
Chips in the headlights is my only worry.

Chips shouldn't be a failure unless they are bad enough to affect the beam pattern.

Well, you shouldn't be such a messy eater...

But seriously, it's pretty hard for a well-maintained car to fail on it's first MOT...

Rob.
Cheers Rob.
Second car I've owned and first MoT.
Little worried. But apparently it has to be more of a full-on crack in the headlamp to fail the MoT.

27 before I owned a car.
30 now therefore first MoT.
That's still for the car, not me.
I don't believe there's an MoT for drivers when they reach 30.

Never owned a car yet that didn't need an MOT within a year. The Octy is the newest thing I've ever bought and that was about 26 months old when I got it.

Diff'rent strokes ....
