| Salford Scrotes! Well ive had my rs6 wheels a few days now and it looks like already some scumbag has atempted to nick the wheels. 1 wheel nut is missing along with the cap, its very unlikely that the nut came off by itself as the nuts were properly tightened. Does anyone know the code and price for a wheel nut and the plastic cover that goes over the nut. |

| Don't be so sure about them coming loose.. I thought i'd tightened mine up at Brunters but they still came loose ![]() It's always easy to miss one. |

| Fell foul of this myself - when I fitted the Kahns to my octavia - all properly torqued up - one of our guys said "make sure you recheck then after about 20-30 miles" well I made it to about 45 - then all of a sudden got this terrible noise - then judder - by the time I stopped all bolts in the N/S/F where only hand tight!! - and all others were nowhere near fully torqued ![]()

| Changed mine for Mcgard - far too easy to get hold of the nuts for the factory ones.

Sorry, couldn't resist! Have McGard on mine too (which reminds me I should check they're still tight!) - a little worrying that I only received one "key" in the packaging... I'm guessing they're a bit of a pain to remove if you lose it? ![]()

| you should try parking up around Deeplish in Rochdale.... I used to have funky aluminium valve caps with blue checked tops......went through FIVE sets in THREE WEEKS. Everytime i went to my Gran's, the caps would be gone when i came out. Never had any problems in Salford, but then I don't really get to far into it. Ordsal road........AHHHHHHH!! ![]() |
