Seeking advice

I've looked in the Dealership section, but neither Clist & Rattle Ltd (Bristol) or Williams Automobiles Ltd (Bristol) are listed. Does anyone have any experience of either?

Basically I'm seeking a dealership not too far away that won't rip me off and leave me feeling let down (yes I know, aren't we all?) and my local dealer (Thompson & Thompson in Caldicot) is pretty dire...

Any/all help appreciated.

Dont know any thing about the Bristol dealerships, but I can recommend Winner Garage in the Forest of Dean, that shouldn't be too far away from Bristol.

Thanks John - is that the dealership in Cinderford? I think I drove past that on one occasion.

I guess I'm in the same boat as you, Usksider. When Langstone motors packed in, I had to move (while the car was still under warranty) to T & T. You can read my opinion of them in the reviews section

I've heard that Winner are good, but there's no review of them here. Fish Brothers in Swindon get two good reviews, but that may be a bit far to travel.

I'm not sure about White Dove in Cardiff (which is almost as close to me as Thompson & Thompson). I was really disappointed with the sales staff when I was buying my last (i.e. the current) car; Skoda (Langstone Motors) was edging in front of Mitsubishi (White Dove), but the real clincher was the attitude of the sales staff. On the other hand, the guys in the spares department at White Dove are really good.

I don't know what to do when I change the current car...

Yes, Thats the one on a trading estate, this is the delearship I use even though there are dealerships closer. The whole dealership work as a great team. I have now added a review in the review section, I thought I had previously entered one .

Sounds like it KLB. I have to say my experience of T&T are much the same as yours.

I don't have any personal experience of White Dove, but one guy I spoke to didn't have much to say about them - he'd come from Cardiff to use T&T in Caldicot!

Winner's sound like they're worth a try though.

Both are included in the Reviews - Dealers section under England - SW. There is one review for Williams Automobiles which is on the second page. See below:

I completely missed Page 2 - how dim can you get? Thanks for pointing that out Denis. It seems the Winner Garage @ Cinderford or Williams Automobiles @ Bristol may be my best choice.

Can't believe I missed the secone page - must have been having (yet another!) senior moment....
