Service Light Reset?

Have just serviced my octy myself and now need to get the service light switched off.........any one local to Bicester oxfordshire who would mind doing this for me via Vagcom?
I managed to obtain the VW oil through e-bay for £22.50 a bargain, and the o/filter, f/filter, p/filter, sump plug and plugs from my local Skoda dealer for under £60.. .......car is now fully serviced for under £75 and it has only done 18500k...a two hundred pound saving on the dealers quoted price for a first service

Phil, I'll bring my VAG COM with me on Monday. Unfortunately I still don't have a fully working version yet, but I'll see what I can come up with.

How to reset the service indicator is in the owners handbook. Does not need vag-com, can be done by anyone.

Pages 64/65 of the Owner's Manual:

It is also possible to reset the service interval display with the reset knob of the trip counter as follows:

- Switch off the ignition and press the reset knob of the trip counter below the speedometer and hold.

- Switch on the ignition and release the reset knob. The message service or service now appears in the display.

- Turn the knob for setting the clock to the right until the message is reset.

It is not recommended to reset the service interval yourself otherwise this this may result in incorrect settings and thus possible faults in the vehicle.

After resetting the service interval display on models with LongLife Service, the service messages are displayed in the same way as on models not fitted with LongLife Service.

I believe if its reset manually it wil revert to 10,000 mile 1yr service interval. To continue with variable I believe setting must be via vag com or dealer equiv.
