squeaky creaky

My octavia vrs passenger seat seems to have developed a squack/creak when someones sitting in it. Drives me mad.

Anyone else had this? Adjusting the height seems to solve it for a while then its back again.

Got exactly the same problem, but it seems worse when SWMBO sits in it and she is lighter than most of my passangers, creaks and squeeks like a bitch.

Do you mean the seat or.....

Probably need some grease on the rails, which sorted this on my old Fabia

No I think it's more of a leather squeek, I will have to check to see if she's wearing her leather underpants, no but seriously it seems to be coming from inside the seat not the rails

Had this on my vRS - was a broken weld underneath the seat (i think it must be from when Des sat in it? ). Fixed under warranty as new vRS seats cost £1600 each!

Squeaky seats

Had the really annoying perpetual squeak/creak on the drivers seat of my vrs.
Sounded like the internal springing of the seat was getting old more than anything.
Mentioned it when I took the car in for a service and they sorted it no problem and no charge. I don't know what the problem was - but fixing it didn't involve putting a new seat in.
